Our Impact
We’ve worked on improving bicycling conditions in Lebanon County, the region and Pennsylvania.
With bicycle advocacy at the forefront, this coalition helps protect bicyclists’ rights as well as provide proper education on bicycle safety. They make sure everyone has a voice in defending their right to bike for generations to come!
What We Do
The Lebanon Valley Bicycle Coalition was started in the 1980s with an emphasis on recreational bicycling and offered annual fundraising rides, the Tour de Lebanon Valley and No Baloney Century. Today we continue to meet and focus on bicycle advocacy.
Education
Even experienced bicyclists will discover that there are cycling skills that they should learn.
Advocacy
To make bicycling safer and more accessible by providing better facilities and laws and educating both bicyclists and motorists is LVBC’s priority.
Planning
The good news is that the more we study and respond to transportation planning, the easier it gets to provide information and persuasive arguments.
Ride
We continue to plan and promote local rides.

Lebanon Bicycle Recycle
Beinvenido! We believe bicycles can make our community a better place to live and work. We want to empower people so that they can confidently ride a bike and know how to repair it. Lebanon Bicycle Recycle offers a hands-on program to repair bikes with an opportunity to earn a bike using volunteer hours.
Lebanon Bicycle Recycle accepts bikes and bike parts donations from the community, encourages and trains volunteers and riders to fix them with a commitment to lifelong riding! Let’s GO! Vamos!
Earn A Bike
For those in need of transportation, our Earn a Bike program helps people in the Lebanon area “earn a bike” by working with volunteers to fix up a donated bike and then riding it home. This past year we’ve provided bicycles to residents at the Rescue Mission, Jubilee and the VA’s Therapeutic Housing in addition to others in need such a Ukrainian student, a family in a local shelter and others recovering from addiction. If you know someone who needs transportation or wants to donate a bike, please call Scott at the number below;

Ride options include a beautiful metric century (62 miles), a rolling mid-distance (25 or 32) and a fun filled family ride (6 miles). Each route winds through rolling countryside, beautiful farmlands, young forests and past historic sites.
